Meen Green!

We’ve finallllly done it! Last December (2009), you may remember a tonne of legal highs got banned for a number of bullshit reasons, including our super popular Mellow Yellow. Well, now, after months of anticipation, Coffeesh0p.com (John & Jo’s Coffeeshop Ltd ;-) ) has bought out another new, amazing incense: Meen Green!

It’s in the same “homemade” packaging as the Mellow Yellow, but it still looks awesome. The incense itself is a lovely green colour, very fluffy and burns evenly.

So How Can You Get Some For Free?

Meen GreenBefore I continue, I’m afraid it’s only available to those in the UK for now. If this changes, I’ll be sure to let you know. So, if you’re in the UK, here’s how to score a freebie:

1) Comment on this post asking for some! I’ll give 3g to the first commenter and 1g to the next 10 commenters! I want some feedback though, so you have to let me know what you think of it.

2) If you’re on Twitter, retweet this message! I’ll pick a handful of people to give some to, depending on how many people participate.

3) Place an order with Coffeesh0p for £30 or more and we’ll throw in a free gram. This offer will be available for a couple of days at least, but after that, we can’t guarantee it.

In case you can’t tell, I’m super excited. :D

Mellow Yellow IncenseI’m very excited! Coffeesh0p has just brought out its own brand of delicious incense – Mellow Yellow!

I’ve never done anything like this before, so working out how to “release a product” was an interesting experience. My first problem was finding some decent bags to put it in. I spent about a million hours searching Google and emailing people trying to find the perfect packaging, but everything I came across was unacceptable for one reason or another. I eventually settled for some 3×5″ resealable antistatic bags, which do look pretty cool, but are perhaps a little bit big. They’ve also got some nasty printing on the one side, but that’s ingeniously covered up by the labels we had printed. To a “professional incense merchant”, they may look a little tacky, but most people should be pleased. I’m sure customers would rather I save a little bit of money on packaging and pass the saving along to them.

The incense itself is really light and fluffy, so you do get quite a large volume of it. It’s mainly yellow, hence the name, but with flecks of orange wild dagga flowers, blue lotus petals and purple lavender. It burns very evenly and its relaxing effects can last for several hours. This is definitely my favourite incense on the market at the moment – that might sound like bollocks, but I’m not going to put our name to something terrible am I?

I probably won’t give away any on here, but we’ll include a free 1g sample with all orders over £30, while stocks last. :D

Check out my new SupaFly Agaric incense burner! Quite possibly the most tackiest piece of crap ever made, but at only £6.50, can you really complain? My girlfriend and I found this wonderful item at Birmingham’s German Christmas Market, where ample hot dogs and beer in expensive looking glasses divert your attention away from the fact that everything is mass produced in Nepal. Basically, the big mushroom at the back lifts off, revealing a metal plate upon which you place a burning incense cone. Pop the mushroom back on and smoke billows from his chimney. That’s right, his chimney. Not only does this anthropomorphised Amanita muscaria specimen possess a face complete with moustache, he also appears to be a dwelling of some description, equipped with a chimney and a door. What might live in there, I have no idea. Regardless, this was almost the best purchase ever, second only to the £3 spent on deep fried cheese minutes before.

Inspired by this epic work of art, I decided to get A-Muscaria.com back online after a few weeks of down time. This is a small experiment of mine I set up to compete with myself. The ground fly agaric and soma spliffs on there are the same as those listed on Coffeesh0p, just priced slightly differently. There’s a couple of pretty interesting articles on there too about fly agaric basics and history – did you know the laypeople of eastern Siberia would consume their shaman’s piss for it’s psychoactive constituents? You do now!

Hopefully, I’ll have some whole amanita muscaria caps on Coffeesh0p soon. The ground caps still do the trick, they just don’t look anywhere near as cool…
