Keep up the good work! I totally agree about South Park...it was pretty childish when it first surfaced, but I really feel like it has involved into surprisingly intelligent social commentary. As far as your question here is concerned, I have a few recommendations for your sweet new HD tv: I'm a big fan of Miyazaki animated films; my favorites are Princess Mononoke and Spirited Away. The attention to detail is amazing, especially on a big screen. If you liked Planet Earth, you may also enjoy Baraka, a beautifully shot, unconventional nature-ish film with no dialogue. If you are like that, also try Manufactured Landscapes. 300, Sin City, Children of Men, and Pan's Labyrinth are others that I have enjoyed in Blu-ray/HD format recently.
