- First, cream together the butter and sugar until fluffy.
- Add the egg, vanilla essence, flour, bicarbonate of soda and salt and fold in.
- Next, add the cereal and chocolate and mix thoroughly.
- Drop small spoonfuls onto a greased baking tray, around 5cm/2in apart.
- Bake at 180ºC (350F or Gas Mark 4) for 10 – 12 minutes.
